The tournament will take place in the historic Karolinum, the main building of Charles University, located in the heart of Prague’s Old Town. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and within walking distance of many major landmarks.

Tournament details

  • Class A tournament
  • 5 rounds – Swiss or Modified Swiss system
    • The referee reserves the right to select the most suitable tournament system based on the number of participants
  • Time: Fischer time – 45 minutes + 20 seconds per move (per player)
  • Rules: EGF rules
  • Komi: 6.5 points

Guaranteed Total Prize Budget: 400€

Entry fee:

  • 20€ until September 15
  • 25€ later
  • 15€ for students and women on maternity leave

The winner qualifies for the Go Seigen Cup 2926 (Wu Qingyuan Cup) in China. The three highest-placed amateur women, each from a different country, will qualify for the Senko Cup 2026 in Japan, provided that the organisers maintain the current qualification system used in recent years.

Eligibility: Participation is open to players holding a passport from an active EGF member country, provided their legal gender is female as stated in the document.

Special guests: Benjamin Dréan-Guénaïzia 1-pro and Lukáš Podpěra 7-dan will join us to comment on your games and provide great company.

  • 20:30 – Group Dinner at Kavárna Adria, Národní 36, 110 00 Nové Město (free for all participants, including soft beverages and two complimentary drinks)

Sunday

  • 09:00 – 4th Round
  • 13:00 – 5th Round
  • 16:30 – Prize-giving ceremony
